Obituary for Toni Darlene Godby (Merino)
Toni Darlene Godby, 79 of Summersville, WV passed away, Thursday, February 18, 2021 at her home in Summersville. Toni was born on December 19, 1941 in San Jose, CA to Anthony and Arlene Merino.
Toni was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 44 years at the Palo Alto VA Hospital. She enjoyed spending time tending to her garden, feeding the birds and watching the many wild life in her backyard.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband Ronald Godby; her daughter Karen Hall; her granddaughter Sydnee Hall, and all of her many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Summersville Baptist Church with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating.
At the family’s request donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
