Obituary for Thomas Gene Cobb

Thomas Gene Cobb, 76, of Page, WV, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Plateau Medical Center following a valiant battle with a chronic medical condition. Thomas was born on June 12, 1946, in Page to the late Homer Robert Cobb and Virginia Mae Cobb.
Thomas was an Army Veteran who served his time in the United States Military in Vietnam and was a former Heavy Equipment Operator at Frasure Creek Mine #5.
Thomas was a faithful member of Page Baptist Church in Kincaid. He also enjoyed being a member of the Mountaineer Cruisers Car Club of Fayette County. He was a former long-term Volunteer to his local Loup Creek Fire Department. In his free time Thomas enjoyed nothing more than being in his garage with family and friends working on anything with a motor. Thomas did not know a stranger and is well known to always help anyone.
In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his infant brother Robert Lee Cobb; two sisters Kathy Sue Cobb and Ella Mae Cobb.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Cheryl Cobb; two daughters Lisa Johnston (Jeremy) and Tama Sweet; two brothers Paul Cobb and Robbie Cobb; seven grandchildren CW Johnston, Phoenix Wooldridge, Christian Johnston, Isaac Johnston, Madison Daniel, Mason Daniel and Kriby Milam; two great grandchildren and countless other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers will be CW Johnston, Phoenix Wooldridge, Christian Johnston, Larry Atkins, Eric Cobb and son-in-law Jeremy Johnston.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delmas Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 12:00PM – 1:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
High Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
