Obituary for Susan Annette Smith (Pinson)
Susan Annette Pinson Smith, 59, of Oak Hill, WV passed away surrounded by family at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on January 12, 2021. She was born July 9, 1962 in Beckley, WV to John R. Pinson Sr. and Sharon L. Pinson (Aldridge).
In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her grandmother Mary Sue Aldridge and a special aunt, Brenda F. Rowe Aldridge.
Left to cherish her memories are her significant other of 14 years, Rick Ellison of Oak Hill, a daughter Meagan Pinson Conley of Oak Hill, her stepchildren Amber Kincaid and Daniel Ellison both of Oak Hill and Alvie (Misty) Smith of SC, 11 grandchildren Austin Pinson, Madison Conley, Christian Muovich, Kaitlyn Muovich, Alyssa Kincaid, Jasper Kincaid, Shawn Ellison, Aliyiah Ellison all of Oak Hill and Brooklyn Ellison, Trinity Smith and James Smith of SC; brother John Pinson Jr (Kathy Washington) of Oak Hill, WV; special nieces and nephews John Pinson the 3rd(Felicity), Kinsely, Kaelynn, and John Pinson the 4th, all from Scarbro, WV, along with her life-long best friend Clara Neely of Oak Hill and many other extended family and friends that loved her dearly.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and her family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date to be announced.
A special thank you to Bowers Hospice House of Beckley, WV and their entire staff for the care and hospitality that was given to the family at such a difficult time.
