Susan Louise McNeeley, 61, of Oak Hill passed away at Raleigh Genera Hospital on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Susan was born on March 6, 1961 in Sutton, WV to the late Dallas Edward Ramsey and Wanda Lou Gray Ramsey. Susan was a housekeeper at Raleigh General Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her sister Nona Julie Ramsey.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband James David McNeeley; daughter Sara Hill (Scottie); sons Daniel Pittman (Amanda) and Shawn McNeeley (Danielle); grandsons James Sheehan, John Milam, and Nathan Cantrell; granddaughters Emily Hill, Josee Pittman, Zerene Pittman, Brandi Carpenter and Sydney McNeeley; great granddaughter Luna Pauley; brothers Gene Ramsey, William Ramsey and Leonard Ramsey; sisters Kathy Jones, Ellen Darlene Rader and Mereldia Holliday; many nieces and nephews; best friend Carolyn Cox and her Akita Ryliegh Ann.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, July 15, 2022 at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park. At the family’s request there will be no graveside services.
Friends may gather with the family on hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
