Shirley Edward Treadway, 82, of Fayetteville, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on April 12, 2020. Born March 2, 1938, he was the son of the late walker and Ida Mae Treadway.
Shirley was a member of the Sun Full Gospel Church and loved singing the praises of God.
Shirley loved to keep his hands busy, He was a building contractor, electrician, welder mechanic and so much more.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brother; Oather, Walker Jr., Arnold, Calvin and Leonard Treadway, and two sisters; Joann Wickline and Betty Murphy.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 42 years, Jo Ann Treadway, four sons; Clint (Tammy), Curtis (Kathy), Kevin (Mary) Tradway, and Robert Ramsey (Sandy) and two daughters; Debbie (Eugene) Landam, and Teresa (Jeff) Riffe. He will be missed by hs grandchildren; Tuesday, Kasarah, Britney, Triston, Clint Jr., Brandon, Amanada, Andrea, Shone, Candice, Jade, Dillon, Roby, Cody and several great grandchildren. . He is also survived by his brother Harold (Kaye) Treadway, and sister, Mildred Scott and several nieces and nephews and his baby dog Fox.
A private graveside service will be on Thursday, April 16th at High Lawn Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. Rev. Joan Terry will officiate.
