Obituary

Samuel Arron Jeffries, Age 55 of Fayetteville, WV passed away suddenly Friday, September 25th, 2020 at Plateau Medical Center.
Samuel was born on January 31st, 1965 in Oak Hill, WV to William J. and Norma Lee Meadows Jeffries. Samuel was an Assistant Pastor at Light of the World Ministries. He also worked for the park service for many years. Samuel was a dedicated Christian, he was a loving father, grandfather and fiance’. He enjoyed going to church, fishing, hunting, singing and spending time with his loved ones. He loved to make people laugh. A few of his favorite saying were “All Is Well”, ‘Praise the Lord’ and ‘hey pull my finger’...
In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jeffries, brothers, Ronald and David Jeffries, and grandson, Michael Leon Rollins. Those left to cherish his memory include his Fiance’ MaryAnn Ulibas’Rollf, brother, Phillip Jeffries, children /step-children; Jinnie Vanness {Bret}, Daniel Taylor {Jerica}, Jerry Taylor {Kathy}and Leon Taylor, grandchildren; Katlyn Shearer {Tylor}, Emily Rollins, Ashlynn Taylor (Rugrat) Kaylee Taylor (Butterscotch) Andrew Taylor {Gina} Elizabeth Eaton {Damian}, great-grandchildren; Gracelynn Rollins (Sweetpea), Graison and Sophia Taylor, Niece: Robin Webb {Ted}

I send my heart felt condolences and prayers to the family and friends I'd see Sam at Lowes all the time we would talk awhile and he would just witness what the lord has done for him and giving him almighty praise I can truly say Sam was one of a kind he will sadly missed but not forgotten may he Rest In Peace

I just want to tell the family how very sorry I am for their loss. Sam was a great guy! He was definitely a man of God and he was so funny. He was a real good friend of my Dad (Wayne Layton) and I know he will surely be missed by many!
