Obituary for Rita Marie Fredericks (Worthington)
Rita Marie Fredericks, 83, of Oak Hill, WV passed away, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Bower’s Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Rita was born on August 16, 1937 in Lone Rock, IA to Hugo Worthington and Malinda Goetz.
Rita was owner of Ri-Ja Machining Co. She loved gardening, entertaining, and traveling. She was a Lutheran. She was also a gourmet cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Fredericks, and son Jimmy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Dale Mackey, Richard Mackey, and Kurt Fredericks all of Oak Hill, WV, daughters Pamela Finy of Westerville, OH and Barbara Mackey of Oak Hill, brothers Gary Worthington of Boise, Idaho, and Gene Worthington of Fayetteville, WV, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at High Lawn Memorial Park for family only.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to Bower’s Hospice House at 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley, WV 25801.
High Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
