Obituary for Michael Ray Cooley
Michael Ray Cooley, 36, of Beckwith, WV passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Cleveland Clinic. Michael was born on November 12, 1985, in Beckley, WV to Myra and Todd Alexander Cooley.
Michael worked in the construction industry for Corgan, Inc. He loved going hunting, fishing and WVU sports; but the thing he loved most was his family. He was a kindhearted man who would help anyone with anything.
In addition to his father, Michael is preceded in death by his brother Matthew Scott Cooley and grandparents Ruth and Allie Copley “I’m home with you Poppaw”.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Myra Cooley, brother Todd Cooley, half-sister Felicity Darling and her children, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, September 16, 2022, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Gillman officiating. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Friday, September 16, 2022, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Todd Cooley, Doug Knott, Kyle Knott, Chad Everett, Josh Smith and McCaden Dortzbach.
