Obituary for Mary Sue Godbey
Mary Sue Godbey, 83 of Mount Hope, WV passed away Monday February 1, 2021 at Hidden Valley Nursing Home. Mary Sue was born on November 7, 1937 in Kilsyth, WV to Homer Basil and Leona Godbey.
She attended church at Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Alice Godbey, Emmeline Godbey, H. Basil Godbey Jr. Cecil Godbey and Robert Godbey.
Those left to cherish her memory include Cheryl Sue, Larry and Kevin Creed.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, February 5th at Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church, 115 Freewill Lane, Mt. Hope, WV. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
