Obituary for Mary Ellen Bowling (Hinte)
Mary Ellen Bowling, 81, passed away Tuesday October 26, 2021 at home in Bradley. Mary was born September 24, 1940 in Maple Fork, WV to Christopher and Minni Hinte.
Mary was a Sunday School teacher at Bradley Freewill Baptist Church and loved to teach children about the Word of God. She touched the lives of many people.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother Kenneth Lee, husband Billy (Tarzan) Smith and husband Clifford Bowling.
Those left to cherish her memory include son Billy Smith Jr, daughter Rebecca Cook, grandchildren Cody, Dalton, Dylan, Morgan, Alycia and Aimee, sister Christy Woolwine and brother-in-law Lowe Woolwine, two nephews and a niece.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, October 29th at Bradley Freewill Baptist Church. Friends may call beginning at 11:00 am until start of service. Burial will immediately follow at High Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Bradley Freewill Baptist church 6132 Robert C. Byrd Dr., Mt. Hope, WV 25880.
High Lawn Funeral Chapel is helping the family with arrangements.
