Obituary for Marilyn Lou Morales (Young)
Marilyn Lou Morales age 70, passed away at home with her family by her side on March 24, 2020, following a short illness.
Marilyn was born on February 9, 1950 in Putney, WV to Geneva (Elswick) Young and Phillip Young.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Doming "Mike" Morales.
Marilyn was a cosmologist and owned D's Hair Hut in Oak Hill for 38 years. She loved her girls at the shop and her customers. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend Beverly Burnette shopping and going on road trips.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed anytime spent with her family.
She is survived by a daughter Erin L. Painter of Summersville, a son Phillip D. Johnson and Wife Serena Johnson of Summersville, 4 grandchildren Phillip Johnson, Morgan Johnson, Talen Painter, and Graeson Painter, a brother Donnie Young of Elkhart, IN, 2 sisters Sharon Graham of Piney View, and Kelly Tackett of Constantine, MI.
Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, March 28th at High Lawn Funeral Home. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park immediately following the service. Services will be held for immediate family only.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of Southern WV.
