No longer struggling to breathe and at peace, Judy Lee Brown Kidd of Oak Hill, WV, passed away January 21, 2021 at Bowers Hospice House, in Beckley. She was not alone, surrounded by those who cared for her and loved her.
Born June 9, 1940, in Grant County, West Virginia to the lateHarold and Ethel Brown.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by many including ex-husband Robert L Kidd, son Robert Lane Kidd, brothers Leonard Brown, Rick Brown, Sam Brown and Jim Brown, sister, Peggy Brown Nunley and brothers-in-law Charles Nunley and David McClung.
Those left to cherish her kind heart and gentle smile are her daughter Tracey Kidd Pino (husband Rick), grandchildren Charlie Pino (wife Mackenzie) of Utah, Katie Pino of Oak Hill, Hannah Pino of Morgantown, Jacob Pino and (fiancé Bre) of Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren Stella and Skylar Pino of Utah (whom she loved so dearly); sister Shirley McClung of Belle, sister in-law Ruth of Danville and many nieces, nephews and friends whom she dearly missed seeing and loved so much.
Before retiring, she worked as a Scrub Tech at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV, for over 30 years. She loved her job and the friends and co-workers she worked with.
Her wishes were to be cremated. She did not want any services for she wanted to be remembered in your hearts as she was.
Once interred, you will be able to visit at High Lawn Memorial Park in the mausoleum at the niche where she rests.
The nurses and staff with Hospice of Southern WV were all very kind, caring and supportive.
