Obituary for Josephine Jane Parker
Josephine Jane Parker, 91, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Hilltop Center. Josephine was born on February 2, 1931 in Lochgelly, WV to the late George and Stella Lesher. Josephine was a homemaker and was a member of the Gatewood Church of God for 65 years.
In addition to her parents, Josephine is preceded in death by her husband Rupert O. Parker; brother Gene Lesher; sisters Naomi Mathney and Gala Evans.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Daniel (Diane) Parker and Orville Wayne Parker; daughters Joanna (Lee) Gupton and Tania (Bill) Sheaves; 40 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Gatewood Church of God with Pastor Jackie Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.
Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the service at the church.
