Obituary for John David Pietkoski
John David Pietkoski, 69, died at his home on Friday, December 10, 2021 in Oak Hill, WV. Born August 27, 1952 in Hilltop, WV, he was the son of Bernard “Possum” Pietkoski and Ruth Long.
John was a disabled coal miner and was preceded in death by his grandmother Martha Pietkoski, and Uncle Fred Crouse as well as his mother and father.
Survivors include wife Janet Pietkoski; daughters Carrie Pietkoski, Candy Pietkoski, Lora Warford (husband Thomas Warford), Tarah Tozier (husband Dale Tozier); grandchildren Kaleb Pietkoski (wife Harlee Pietkoski), Tristan Pietkoski, Aiden Jandreau, Cloe Warford; great-granddaughters Hazel Faye Pietkoski and Aspen Elaine Pietkoski.
John requested no services he held. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made in his name to St. Judes Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research.
