John George Benger, 65, of Nallen, WV passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 20, 2021. John was born on April 3, 1956, in Montgomery, WV to late Percy and Mildred Benger. John was a coal miner at Bold Mountain, WV and served in the United States Navy serving from 1974 – 1976. John enjoyed hunting and fishing by most of all he enjoyed his part time career as a white water rafting guide.
In addition to his parents John is preceded in death by his brother Percy Lawrence Benger III and his sister Bonnie Lucas.
Those left to cherish John’s memory include his three children Malissa Benger, Crystal Benger and Jonathan Benger; brother James Benger; grandsons Randy Cool Jr., Nicholas Benger and Christopher Jackson; granddaughters Shannon Flint and Ava Benger; nieces Kelly Bridges, Patricia Benger and Anita Benger and his ex-wife Cindy Benger.
In keeping with Johns wishes he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
