Obituary for Geneva Arlene Sims
Geneva Arleen Sims, 84 of Oak Hill, WV passed away on January 1, 2021 at Raleigh General Hospital. She was born November 18, 1936 at Hinton, WV.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, James Bragg and Sarah Lena Bragg and a brother, Eddie Jr. Bragg, sisters Eula Bennett, Imogene Thompson; grandson Lee Jones and son-in-law John Jones.
She is survived by daughter Shelly Jones of Fayetteville, WV; sons David (Betty) Bragg, James “Pete”(Joyce) Bragg, and Freeman Bragg (who took care of her), Kenny Taylor, Clyde Taylor, all of Oak Hill, brother Harold Bragg of King, NC sisters Glenna Bailey of Hinton, WV and Juanita Setleff of Beckley, WV. Geneva also has 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She liked to crochet and watch TV.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 6th at High Lawn Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with Jeremy Jones officiating. Family may call beginning at 1:00 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions all persons must be masked and social distancing must be observed.
Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
