Edward Allen Travis, 83 of Fayetteville, WV passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was born March 28, 1937 to Estel and Hazel Travis.
Ed was a welder and machinist and also served in the U. S. Navy.
He loved fishing, gardening, tinkering around his shop and while playing golf he accomplished 4 hole in ones and 14 eagles.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn June Bennett, brother, Arthur Travis and sister June Travis.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 50 years, Drema Travis, children Allen (Felicia), Katherine (Harry), Nancy (Greg) and Eddie (Maria) as well as 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and siblings, Nelson and Betty.
High Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.

Drema, I was so saddened to hear of Eddie's passing. I know that knowing he is out of pain and suffering will be a comfort to you. He fought a good fight and with you by his side he had such a wonderful helpmate. He was a wonderful person and he will most surely be missed, but his memory will live on. I will keep you and your family in my prayers

Drema, I’m so sorry to read of Ed’s passing. He and Bonner spent a lot of good times on the golf course and at Long-Airdox. Will keep you and your family in my prayers. God Bless.
