Edward Hansford Myles, 82 of Fayetteville, WV passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at Beckley ARH Hospital. He was born on October 30, 1939 in Fayetteville to Houston Myles and Audessa Stull Myles.
Edward was a brick mason, attended The New Beginning Church of God and enjoyed gardening, farming, hunting, fishing, watching Fayetteville High School football and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Edward as preceded in death by his sisters Jean Sprouse and Mary Barnett, brothers William Myles, Robert Myles, Harold Myles and son Richard Myles.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nancy Myles, children Tammy Myles, Jerry Steen, LeAndra Justus, Audessa Graham and husband Charlie, grandchildren Ernie Myles, Ricky Myles, Edward Myles, Savannah Taylor, Jade Ball, Brent & Bryan Mitchem, Jayden Freeman, Trinity Graham, Michaela Graham, Cheyanne Graham, Ethan Graham; great-grandchildren Maddie Myles, Bristol Myles, Brawley Myles, Campbell Myles, Landry Myles, Blakley Ball, Vivian Myles and best friends Robert “Bob” Hobbs and Zenda Vance.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 25th at The New Beginning Church of God in Glen Jean, WV with Pastor Tom Fife officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV.
Friends may call on the family Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Myles, Edward Myles, Charlie Graham, Blake Ball, Robert Hobbs and Kyle Hobbs.
High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill is assisting the family.
