Dorothy May Stone, 95, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Hidden Valley Nursing Home. Dorothy was born May 7, 1926 in Browns, WV, to the late Sylvester (Johnny) Coleman and Anne May West Coleman.
Dorothy was a Jehovah’s Witness her entire life. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. She enjoyed meeting and talking to people, working puzzles, and taking care of her home and family.
In addition to her parents Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Stanley A. Stone; two sisters and two brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Genevieve M. Smith of Oak Hill; granddaughter Tonya Daley and her husband John of Pennsylvania; grandson Charles E. Smith of Belle, WV; great grandsons Johnathan, Joshua and Jacob Daley; great granddaughter Krysta Fraley; four great-great grandsons and one great-great granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, May 9, 2022 at High Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Bill Gillman officiating. There will be no visitation, graveside service only.
