Donald Owen Davis of Kincaid, WV passed away November 2, 2021, in Beckley, WV at Raleigh General Hospital. Donald was born December 30, 1961, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV to Dorothy Velma Davis. He attended Oak Hill High School where he graduated in 1981. He joined the United States Navy in 1983 and served until 1989. He obtained the rank of Petty Officer Second Class while serving on submarine tenders. After leaving the Navy he continued to do pipefitting across the country. Donald was an avid motorcycle enthusiast; he was also a member of Plateau Amateur Radio Association. Like most West Virginians he loved
NASCAR and Mountaineer Football.
Donald is preceded in death by his: Mother - Dorothy Velma Davis. Those who are left to cherish his memory are: Stepfathers - Benny Miller and Dennis Levasseur, Daughter - Samantha Davis, Sisters - Joyce Davis Lambert and Beverly Miller, Brother-in-law - Eric W. Lambert, Nephew - Eric M. Lambert, and Nieces - Kristen Miller, Heather Austin, and Erin Lambert.
A memorial to honor his memory will be held at 2 pm, November 9, 2021, at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, Oak Hill, WV, with Mother Maggie Blanchard presiding. Friends may call on the family from 1-2 pm on November 9, 2021, prior to the memorial
