Obituary for Deborah Kay Butner
Deborah (Debbie) K. Butner, 66, of Oak Hill, WV found her wings on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born on April 14, 1955 in Fayetteville, WV, to the late Eddie and Florence McQueen of Page, WV.
Deborah was a long-time member of the Crossroads Apostolic Church. She spent her younger years working as a home health nurse and a caretaker. She loved Jesus, cooking for family and friends, helping others, and she lived her life to the fullest. Debbie was always there to encourage others with a smile on her face. She was the most amazing, caring, humble, and wonderful friend to all who knew her. She tried every day to make everyone’s lives just a little better. Debbie was the rock of our family, and we will forever cherish her legacy.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband and soulmate of 49 years, Gary Butner of Oak Hill, WV; sisters Linda Robertson of Oak Hill, WV, and Beverly Hayes of Unionville, VA; two daughters Wendy Butner of Kernersville, NC, and Stephanie (David) Dreggors of Greensburg, PA; one son Joshua (Tiffanie) Butner of Logan, WV; five grandchildren Scarlette, Anabelle, Abigayle, Terry, Sean and 10 nieces and nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Miller and Pastor Tim Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
