Obituary for David Wayne West
David Wayne West, 49, of Mt Hope passed away, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Home. David was born on February 23, 1972 in Montgomery, WV to Garnett Burns and the late Walter West.
David worked in insurance claims at Health Smart and was a veteran serving in the United States Army National Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, basketball, skateboarding and drawing.
In addition to his father David is preceded in death by his brother Freddy Burns.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter LaDonna West; mother Garnett Burns; brothers Chris Burns and Joey West; sister Jenell and Bo Rice; nieces and nephew Casey and Courtney Rice and JJ and Alayn West.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to LaDonna West PO BOX 603, Mt. Hope, WV 25880.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
