Obituary for David Wayne Bowyer
David Wayne Bowyer, 65, of Cunard passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his home. David was born April 7, 1956, in Oak Hill, WV to Herbert and Zetta Bowyer.
David was a horse guide, carpenter, and concrete worker. He enjoyed horses, horseback riding, 4 wheeling, hunting and motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his father Herbert Edward Bowyer; his brother Herbert Eugene Bowyer; his uncle Roger Bernath; his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Zetta Bernath Bowyer of Cunard; his brother Mark A. Bowyer of Vineland, NJ; his sister Deanna L. Brooks of Wonderland, WV; his aunts Judy, Kathy, and Lana; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Sadie.
In keeping with David’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie Karnes and Jennifer Spangler for their compassion and the wonderful care they gave him.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
