Dana Ray Hollingsworth, 67 of Fayetteville, WV passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Dana was born on November 4, 1953 in Fayetteville, WV to Edrie Thomas Hollingsworth, Sr. and Delma A. Crookshanks-Hollingsworth.
Dana was a truck driver and U.S. Army veteran.
Dana was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers-in-law Nelson Sousa Buhatem and Raymond E. Ohlinger, Jr.; one sister-in-law Bonnie E. McGuire; one nephew Thomas Burt; three great nephews Sean M. Milam, Stefan Wayne Skaggs II, and Travis Wayne Skaggs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his best friend and companion Nanetta Jones; four sisters Josephine M. Ohlinger, Cumilla J. Nutter and husband Gary, Brenda Burt and husband Alexander and W. Catherine Buhatem; one brother Edrie T. Hollingsworth, Jr. and wife Linda; five nieces, four nephews, eight great nieces, eight great nephews, two great great nieces and seven great great nephews.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 5th at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Interment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Ronald A. Sorrell, Jonathon A. Sorrell, Tyler E. Sorrell, Jeremy Summers, Tom Koontz and Brent O’Dell.
