Obituary for Daisy D. Lego (McKinney)
Daisy D. Lego, 96, of St Albans, passed away January 3, 2020. She was born in Metalton, WV to the late Bruce and Nellie McKinney.
Daisy was a homemaker for most of her life. During WWII she worked as a real life Rosie the Riveter on the bulkhead of B29 bombers.
She was a member of Comfort and Light Ministries in Oilville, VA. Daisy loved to give to others through song, prayer and encouragement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Lego and son, Larry W. Lego as well as four brothers and three sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children; Gary Lego, Donna Wood (Dean), Christopher Lego (Jaime), Brian Lego, Lara Miler and Melissa Taverney (Ric) and nine grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Friends can visit with family on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at High Lawn Funeral Home at 1:30pm. Funeral services will start at 2:00 pm.
