Connie Marie Rhodes, 70, of Fayetteville, WV, passed away, Sunday, January 16, 2022 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Connie was born on April 5, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Mildred Smith.
Connie was a Registered Nurse for over 20 years. She was always such a caring and compassionate nurse. Connie later continued her career in nursing as a nursing instructor at the New River Community College. She loved her students and enjoyed watching them succeed in their careers in nursing.
In addition to her mother Connie is preceded in death by daughter Lisa Rhodes and sister Donna Elswick.
Those left to cherish include her husband of 49-years, William Rhodes Sr., one son William Rhodes Jr. and wife Crystal, two grandsons Eric Rhodes and Easton Perry, three brothers Michael, Ronald, and James, three sisters Diane, Gladys, and Patty.
In keeping with Connie’s wishes, she will be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.
