Charles Michael Biggs, 70 of Oak Hill, West Virginia, passed away after complications from Covid-19 on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born on October 5, 1950 in Price Hill, West Virginia to the late Charles William and Virgie Campbell Biggs.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Biggs Payne, his brother, Earl Stanley Brown, and sisters, Joann and Genevieve.

Charlie was a lifelong resident of Fayette County, graduate of Mount Hope High School and opened Biggs Insurance Agency, which became a staple business in the town he called home.
Charlie was a devoted 41 year member of the Mount Hope Lions Club, always honored to be a Lion. He held many offices such as but not limited to, Treasurer, President and District Governor. He received many awards for his service, including the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, the Leonard Jarrett Award and countless other accommodations.

Charlie was also a dedicated Insurance Agent, member of the Shriner’s, the Moose, the Masons and he was a Turtle. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, finding the best deals, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory includes his son, Kevin Michael Biggs, wife MeLiah, and their children, Riley and Meiah, of Oak Hill, step sons, William Johnson, wife Rhonda, of Gastonia, North Carolina, and Steven Johnson, of Sumter, South Carolina. Many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and countless lifelong friends all who will forever remember the impact Charlie made on their lives.

Services will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, January 21, 2021 in the chapel of High Lawn Funeral Home with lifelong friend and fellow Lion Reverend Richard Allen officiating. Entombment will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 1:00PM to the time of the service at the funeral home. In keeping with Covid-19 restrictions all friends and family must wear a mask, practice social distancing and have no more than 25 people in the building at any one time. These guidelines will be strictly enforced. The family and the staff of High Lawn appreciate your kind observance of these restrictions.

Pall bearers will include, Kevin Biggs, Tim Whaples, Lucas Whaples, Jeremy Shuck, Jimmy Parker and Jessie Parker.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in Charlie’s memory be made to the Mount Hope Lions Club, PO Box 285, Mount Hope, West Virginia 25880.

Kevin, Cheryl and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. He was a good man and I enjoyed sparring with him over his computer problems. We will keep you and the family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I remember when we growing up him and David my brother well they talked me into letting them rub the top of my hand needless say my hand was sore for a week there is so many memory I have with your Dad and my Brother I will mis my Uncle very much I love him my prayers go out to u Kevin I do know the hurt u r feeling
