Obituary for Cari Christine Hall

Cari Christine Hall, 50, of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, passed away December 31, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh after a short illness. Cari was born May 16, 1972 in Oak Hill, “West by God Virginia.” She attended schools there and graduated with honors from Oak Hill High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Glenville State University in Glenville, West Virginia, majoring in Behavioral Science. She enjoyed a career of almost thirty years in social services in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Cari was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dave-Rob Hall and Patsy Persinger. Her maternal grandparents, Pete and Alberta Teel and her third grandmother Juanita Holliday Teel. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ryan Hall and her cousin, Sue Ellen Teel. She is survived by her father, David Hall, of Victor, West Virginia, her mother, Frances Teel, of Cowen, West Virginia and by her stepmother, Lisa Plumley, of Fayetteville, West Virginia. Cari is also survived by her sister, Amy (Richard) Hammons of Cowen, West Virginia, brother Bobby (Jayme) Hall of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, sister Michelle (Chad) Lesher of Hico, West Virginia, brother Jason (Stephanie) Gray of Beckley, West Virginia, brother Chris (Jenny) Hall of Fayetteville, nine nephews and two nieces. She was especially close to her nephews, Elijah, Isaiah Hammons and Ryker Hall. Cari loved fishing, camping and holiday family gatherings, especially Christmas. Because of her illness, she was, sadly, not able to enjoy her last Christmas. Cari was gregarious, good hearted, funny, and a jokester who loved to laugh. She will be terribly missed by her family and friends. As she wished, Cari was cremated. Her Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at 12 pm (noon), January 14, 2022 at High Lawn Funeral Home in Oak Hill, West Virginia.
