Brenda Gayle Puckett, age 75, of Oak Hill passed away, Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Bower’s Hospice House. Brenda was born on October 14, 1945 to the late Everette Steel Sr., and Edith Irene steel.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband James Luther Puckett, late husband and father to Brenda’s only child Sherman Luther Hackney, brothers Ray Ervin and Clyde Ervin Sr., and her sister Wanda Hackney.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Tina Gay Wilson of Virginia, sister Sue Jones and husband Don of Florida, brother Everette Steel Jr. and wife Beverly of North Carolina, grandchildren Daniel Wilson II (DJ) of Virginia, and Bridgette Wilson of Virginia, Great Grandchildren Carter, Carlee, Cannon, and Devae, and special friends Judy and Richard Mackey of Oak Hill, WV, Nancy Widay of Ohio, and Lisa Neely of Texas.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at High Lawn Memorial Park. Mask and social distancing will be required for those attending.
