Obituary for Billy Eugene Hunt Jr.
Billy E. Hunt Jr., 69, of Fayetteville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. Billy was born on March 24, 1953 in Oak Hill to the late Billy and Anna Lee Hunt Sr.
Billy was a coal miner/miner operator at Westmoreland Coal Company. He attended the Minden Missionary Baptist Church. Billy loved hunting, riding 4-wheelers at Tumblin Downs Hunting Camp with all the guys, splitting wood with his son and brothers. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed Sunday dinners with all his kids and grandkids.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his brother Mark Hunt.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Pamela Hunt, sons Brian Hunt (Bethany), grandchildren Carrissa Ovalle (Marcos), Braylee Hunt, Brayden Hunt and Abriella Hunt, daughter Amanda Gibson (Carlos), grandchildren Arianna Gibson and Zhavia Gibson, son Jerry Rhinehart, daughter Hailee Hunt, son Blake Hunt, along with cherished brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 3, 2022 at High Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Richards of the Minden Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park.
Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brian Hunt, Jerry Rhinehart, Brayden Hunt, Michael Hunt, Randy Hunt, Eric Smith, Conner Smith, Marcos Ovalle, Brandon Hunt and Mark Hunt.
In lieu of flowers donation may be sent to the Minden Missionary Baptist Church at 22 Minden Church Rd. Minden, WV 25879.
