Obituary for Beverly Lynn Shockey
Beverly Lynn Shockey, 75, of Oak Hill passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Beverly was born on February 18, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Neola and Dewey Kidd of Oak Hill.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son C. D. Plumley; first husband Bud Plumley; second husband Gene Shockey; two sisters Dreama Altman and Regina Massey; one brother Charles Kidd.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Tia Plumley Workman and her husband Dexter of Hopewill; sister Elizabeth June Yoho of Wheeling; granddaughters Promise A. Workman of Hopewell, Tiffany Warnock and her husband Chris of Tennessee and Jennifer Street and her husband Gary of Tennessee; grandsons Dewayne Plumley and his fiancé Makayla of Oak Hill; great-grandchildren Hayden Warnock, Olivia Warnock, Kobe Street and Jacob Street of Tennessee.
In keeping with Beverly’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
