Obituary for Beverly Jean Carter
Beverly Jean Carter, 70, of Oak Hill, WV passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Plateau Medical Center. Beverly was born January 8, 1951 in Rich, VA to Florence Sexton and James Thacker.
Beverly was a caregiver to the elderly in her younger days, watched and kept a relationship with Bill & Gloria Gaither which allowed her to keep her religion close to her heart as well as through prayer and walking close to her Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Carter Jr. son, Richard Hurst, parents Florence Tate and Thomas Tate Sr.
Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Nicole Carter, granddaughter Asheton Carter, brother Thomas Tate Jr.; soon to be son-in-law, Chris Hall and too many others to mention without fear of leaving someone out.
In keeping with Beverly’s wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date when weather permits.
