Avenelle Cora Hurley, 96, of Oak Hill, WV, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 4, 2021 at home. Avenelle was born on September 4, 1925 in Sun, WV to the late John Canterbury and Cora Lee Campbell.
Avenelle loved to listen to classic county music, working jigsaw puzzles and going dancing.
In addition to her parents Avenelle is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas D. Coffman; second husband Ike Hurley; sons Roger D. Coffman, Edward J. Coffman and Thomas Coffman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children Vonda Ely, Bonnie Smith, Carol Bunting, Clifford Coffman, Lynn Lang and Patricia "Pat" Cales and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At the families services will be private.
